DSLR and are stuck in full AUTO or P mode, using these modes with
a DSLR will not get the best from your camera, other modes such as
aperture priority, shutter priority, night, sport, all have their uses.
For maximum benefit you need to be able to use manual mode.
I see many people when I photograph weddings who are struggling to
take pictures of children dancing at the reception, it's dark, they move
fast, the pictures are blurred. It's not hard, you just need a bit of
knowledge.
